” I thought the followers in New York despised me, no, but it’s the overall opposite,” he shared. “I discovered so much love in New york city, but that wanted I retired. Certainly, if I was doing damages to the Yankees, they disliked me.”

Finding Love in New York

Hall of Famer Pedro Martínez– recognized for his hotheaded personality on the mound, including a regrettable case where he threw then-Yankees bench trainer Don Zimmer to the ground– currently plays father to the dynamic blossom and vegetable gardens at his three homes.

“I’m attempting to maintain them brushed and attractive,” he proceeded. “It’s practically like you have a little woman, and you desire her to look good regularly, so you’re constantly kind of fixing her hair, matching clothes and things like that. It’s my moment to loosen up, and I just go into my own space.”

“I had to go into my yard and clean my blossoms, clip my roses,” he added. “That was my passion, and it still is. It’s an odd link due to the fact that if you view me play baseball, you would never ever think that I enjoy gardening so much.”
